Safety Statement

NQ Feral Pest Control is committed to maintaining the highest standards of health and safety across all operations. Safety is embedded in our planning, decision-making, and execution, ensuring all activities are carried out in accordance with legislative requirements and best practice risk management principles.

We implement structured safety systems, including hazard identification, risk assessment, and control measures, to safeguard personnel, clients, and the broader community. Continuous improvement, training, and accountability underpin our safety performance.

Risk Management

NQ Feral Pest Control applies a structured and systematic approach to risk management across all operations. Hazards are identified, assessed, and controlled through the use of a formal Risk Management Matrix, ensuring appropriate controls are implemented based on likelihood and consequence.

All activities are conducted in accordance with documented Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), supported by Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) undertaken prior to task commencement to address site-specific risks.

This integrated framework ensures consistent, compliant, and controlled operations across a range of environments.

Equipment and Technology

NQ Feral Pest Control utilises equipment specifically selected and configured to suit the operational requirements of each engagement. For urban applications, such as feral bird control within industrial environments, we deploy precision air rifles equipped with day and night vision systems. These systems are optimised for controlled, low-impact use, ensuring effective pest control while minimising any risk to infrastructure and surrounding assets.

For small to large-scale rural operations, NQ Feral Pest Control selects firearms appropriate to the target species and operational environment. All systems are supported by thermal or night vision optics to maximise detection capability and accuracy.  In situations involving multiple or high-density feral animal populations, semi-automatic firearms are utilised to improve operational efficiency and deliver effective, value-driven results.

NQ Feral Pest Control deploys specialised firearm platforms for aerial culling operations, including high-capacity semi-automatic .308 Winchester systems and semi-automatic or pump-action 12-gauge shotguns. These are equipped with red dot optics to optimise speed, accuracy, and situational awareness.

This capability enables efficient, high-volume operations while maintaining a strong commitment to humane pest management practices.
